Born in Barranquilla, Colombia, Mauricio Bernal is a 25 year old singer/songwriter with more than 6 years experience in the industry.​ His artistic concept consists of a mixture between English-American music and Latin music. Influences vary from Ed Sheeran, Shawn Mendes, and James Bay to Reik, Morat and Sebastian Yatra.​ Has more than 60,000 followers in social media, mostly coming from Colombia, USA, Mexico, and Peru.

He has worked with industry figures like Latin Grammy® winners José Gaviria and Toby Tobón, as well as Milton Salcedo, Boris Milán, and Juan Carlos Coronel. His first single, 'A Veces' was written by him and co-produced alongside José Gaviria and Toby Tobón. He then co-wrote and was a featured artist in the official song of the Barranquilla Carnaval in 2018, '100tete Mas Barranquillero'. It received widespread national coverage and featured nationally recognized artists such as  Martina La Peligrosa, and Twister. The official music video has reached more than 500,000 views in Youtube. 

In 2019 signs with Sway Music, affiliate of The Orchard Music, subsidiary of major label, Sony Music. Then, releases single ‘Para Enamorarte’, penned by him, and produced by Javier Cuello and Juan Cerro, mix and mastered by multi-Latin Grammy® winner, Boris Milan. As of today, holds more than 600,000 views in Youtube.
